Maybe the answer- it was for my ’selfish interest’.
wil make being cared for all the more easier,

Maybe in the depths of the sub conscious
it is a selfish need, would tht comfort yo??,
The need to care for another….

1.SCHOOLS – Every single day when I travel to work I notice the so called schools all along the way and wonder where have “The Schools Gone”??? the concept of schools and schooling has changed so drastically, for me school meant a nice building with lots of space around it in  peaceful locality or location with big playground etc. I see schools which are worse than any other building around not even a compound wall, they open straight on to the road and the traffic, dust and all the other dangers lurking to steal a childhood. Its ghastly jeez kids will turn out to be street thugs in such schools not model citizens or whatever the elders aim for. Anyways just like big companies make their pricey products in what are called as “SWEATSHOPS” we are making our engineers etc in such places- sweatshops /factories/schools.

Last night I happened to see the advert for a High School or Junior College and one of their USPs or unique selling propositions was I quote ( in their pathetic english )- ” To make parents realise their dreams as they have them.” or some shit to that effect, and I perused further and was disappointed to find there was nothing even remotely talking about the Child’s Dream ad ambition. Has it become such that people have started living their dreams through their kids?? kind of like “I have a dream to become an engineer….I am sure my son will do that instead of me”. Live example I have a pal who is a doctor because his father had a dream, the poor sod wanted to be a Computer Engineer, he went to med school and in the evenings learnt C++ and all that jazz etc a doctor who is more a software geek. Man it sucks!!! Thank God my dad is letting me dig my own foundation…lol But yeah basically its that about schools and schooling.

2. A MILLION LITTLE PIECES- Now this is a book which unfortunately I havent yet read but what I have certainly read a lot about is the controversy surrounding it. This bestselling book ( got there through Miss Goody two shoes Oprahs plugging it ceasely on her money spinner of a show) is supposedly the true account of a man ( the author ) and his battle against drug addiction and abuse and how he over came them and won the uphill battle. Now came the problem or controversy , when some zealous and defnitely jobless people dug deep and found some dirt on the man- it so happened that he concoted some of the misery he allegedly went through, so basically its not all a true account but part fiction masquerading as pure Non-Fiction. Oprah was mighty upset shed a few tears on her show as to feeling cheated and so did the audience the guy was made to come back on the show and unlike the earlier appearence was made to “Unpromote??” his book ( can you call it unpromote hehe ) and the drama went on thus.

Now the reason for my griping is: – What do they feel cheated of all these honest readers and fairy godmother promoter of misery and feel good…what??? Did they feel cheated of the misery? I mean would they have loved the book if the misery was real and 100% true and genuine and came with a certificate saying “ye herewith certified as just returned from hell “. All this brohuha because it was part fiction…ok so what?? WTF it sold a million copies you all liked it and felt inspired – now whats the big deal it was a wonderful read while it lasted and if it inspired you it did even better. The only person to crib would be a bloody ‘Sadist’ for he can crib like this – ” Man I so turned on and it gave so much pleasure and now that I know it aint real, it wont be the same again, I feel cheated like a fake orgasm during sex”…..well now are all of us sadists to feel bad and cheated because someone didnt go through real misery??

Why not just be happy it was a great insiring story real or fiction who cares. …..I can go on but I will stop for you get the idea…

3. SELF STYLED CRICKET PUNDITS-  Now this is a breed unique in itself as each one of us can be that at some point of time or the other. I call them self styled because no one calls them or thinks of them as pundits but nevertheless they feel like they are one. I hate it when India loses they come up with such blashemys like Sachin doesn’t want Sourav to have a successful captaincy hence hence he got out cheaply or the Umpires don’t like India every match we get a coupla bad decisions ( forgetting this crap when we are at the right end of the luck ) or they basically discuss what was going on and what is on the mind of and what are the personal grudges of a player/umpire/official/ everyone. I ask them ‘ Why do you think you can read the mind of someone who is on TV thousands of miles away??? How can you make assumptions as to what so and so must’ve been thinking while he was doing such n such thing??? J H C !!! its just a bloody game ok it makes a lot of money only because of your thinking of it as more than a game, but come on let it now fuck up ok fog your rationality and the sane portion of your head…..all you experts please talk about what you can see like-that was an awesome six or sheesh!!! bad luck mayte but wonderful ball …you know talk sense basically based on facts not like you are running for the “Nostradamus of the Year Prize” or something predicting and talking about shit you don’t know about, can’t see. wont know…but all the same just say it propheticlly…

Its 8 AM Tuesday morning and I should be in the office by now, but, here I am making a note that the blody summer is on and I can feel the heat, and I am checking the music I had set for download last night- Dire Straits ye!! they rock, groovy stuff and I am ready for office but first let me sip that mornig concotion of honey with luke warm water ( many wise people have told me this concotion will burn the fat in me, thank God!! I don’t have to wait for the next winter), but then honey apparently has this unique nature- when mixed with milk it makes you pile on the calories and when mixed with lukewarm water it apparently burns the fat.Ok!! enough science for a morning.

Ummm let me refer my notes, Ye!! I maintain notes on what bugs me-

1. REAL ESTATE BOOM- Now everytime I see land being sold for astronomical sums I wonder in amazement at the price someone is ready to shell out for it and then seeth in anger at the thought of what use he is gonna put that piece of earth to. By simple common sense and logic it scary because I see every farmer even remotely close to a city of town suddenly sees the quick buck and sells his agricultural land and if every farmer does this and every agricultural and is a Mall ( f….kin malls how many do we need???? ) or a Software company ( most of them in India don’t create they are just cheap Secretarial services….f…k do you need so much prime space to answer phone calls??? or operate your computer, the whole freaking concept of Internet revolutio was to eliminate the brick and mortar structures of the old economy and look what we have here!!! Software companies are the biggest threat to agricultural land)…..I rue the day we will have to import our food and we will have companies which do Food Outsourcing, wow !!! we will be eating imported crap ( surely will fascinate us Indians) ….People you wanna be rich stick to your lands wait and start farming ( fancy organic if you want, imagine you can even give farm tour to tourists its already happening in singapore I believe they go on tours to see farms) your food will be bought at a premium when there is food scarcity…Farming is the future  lif goes in a circle baby…

2. EARTH/WATER/AIR – The most free and naturally available resources on the planet, no one was meant to own them it belonged to all of us and here we are today, every one of us appropriated land and we sell it to each other foolishly and then it bloody well burns me everytime I have to buy water in a bottle ( bloody coffee shops and fancy places don’t even serve water as complimentary these days you got to buy it !!!! )….every where you bastards are ripping us with bottled water and water in plastic covers small sachets i have seen illicit liquor sold that way before. Oh yeah!! they have a new revolution, slowly cathcing on O2 bars, its the ultimate thing, no luxury fancy fad whatever dont be suprised the day you pay a fucking tax for the air you breathe , the companies will tell you ” mayte you want free air recycle your own farts …oh here is our new Fart to O2 coverter 12G wanna buy?? “.

3. DEAD CELEB MOVIES- I used to think earlier its God’s creation and the nature at work for vultures to throng a dead body and clean it up or for the maggots to get to work on the buried but then these if the dead body is famous you have a new breed of scavengers “necromaniacs” called Filmakers like MAhesh Bhatt – this man announces a film he will make on every dead celeb eve before the body is buried or laid to rest. Don’t they have any fc…kin decency, some respect for the bereaved or probably the bereaved too are thrilled by the honour bestowed by the filmmaker. I got pissed when I read about the film they wanted to make on 9/11, on the actress to play Benazir being chosen etc etc….sucks man to make millions from others misery…oh forgot how Mahesh Bhatt made a movie on his ex-gf’s sad life, she had health issues, so when she died he immediately made a movie on her and she comes out  looking like a fruit cake and this man the saviour holy crap who takes care…..cant she jus be remembered as the beautiful sex siren she was seen as in her heydays???….these film makers should atleast give 10 years before they make a dead celeb come alive on the silver screen, but then I guess it aint hot no more..

4. CELEBRITY LIMBS – I was eading about which celeb insured what part of his/her body they were all not bad but yeh majority of them reeked of plain “vanity” lol….some sensible ones were Keith Richards insuring his well some of his fingers which are crucial and critical for him to create some of those magicl riffs on the guitar, and some singers their voices. But, then comes Tom Jones that soppy old man actually insure his “chest hair”!!!!,  Jlo her butt and all those who are not particularly famous for anything but being famous insured their legs yeh every female wants legs that never end…Jeezz!!! suprisingly no one insured their Brains….hmmm but I guess you can’t insure non exsistant body parts….and what the F….ck are you insurers doing….

American Gangster

American Gangster, finally got to watch the movie, I haven’t read the reviews or anything for once because the mere fact that Denzel Washington was in it was enough motivation and then add to that Russell Crowe man!!! one could’nt  ask for a better star cast. And , this being review n all I really need not write anything about the acting or performance of the two dudes in question for they can resurrect even a dead scipt with their skill and talent, though it always amazes me how a Denzel looking so much a gentleman and known for playing such roles pulls off wicked roles of bad guys, he such a great actor, but I still rate his role as a corrupt cop in “Training Day” as WOW!!.

This is a typical Hollywood ” a true story” genre movie, has all the right ingredients where you realise life as an honest policeman ( Russell ) sucks and the Gangster is cool and very impressive. I liked the movie it was good go watch it won’t disappoint you. But, what struck me as the “moment” in the film was when the special Attorney is flabbergast and utterly stunned when he comes to know that the biggest drug lord ,the most powerful drug lord, the richest and most dangerous drug lord in the whole of United States is a black man and african american and not an Italian or Russian or any other Gangsters. It showed how that race was treated and what impression was there in the mindset of the people that these people couldn’t do anything other than meanial smal jobs and success in anything field was not even dreamt of.

Denzel Rocks so does the million dollar returning Russell.

What have you that you can call your own?? what have you that you have earned with your own sweat and toil ?? and as a friend was ruminating with me on these lines of thought, I was forced to wake up my spoilt arse and start looking at myself and around me and make some small but important chnages in my life.

Really, when I come to think of it what have I got to show for sans mama, papa and friends, after they are all gone and out of the equation…..Jeez that was a scary thought.

I have learnt one thing, I most certainly feel I have learnt that there is value to hard earned money and that the money you please to blow away better be your own hard earned one. That I should start building my own world now and at this moment brick by brick.

It doesn’t matter that if at the end of the day all I got to show for are mistakes, well, if it is so then let it be so for they are my own mistakes and I can account for myself.

So be more sensible and practical is the lesson learnt for the day.
