Another year gone by….

All of sudden I realise another year has gone by and I got to stop thinking that I just passed out of college….lol, yesterday was my birthday and it was really a pleasant suprise to see so many people calling and wishing, at the stroke of twelve i was only expecting the usuals who call unflailingly year after year, but this time there were so many surprises, all of them pleasant ofcourse. As i was attending to one call there were three waiting and I wondered for a while if my phone was under some sort of virus attack, you know the sort that crash a website with ceaseless hits…lol….nothing else happened it was work as usual but the spate of the deluge of calls and wishes just made my day….in the evening caught up with some buddies happened to be free at the exact moment i called them so we all had dinner together. The food sucked big time but hey the conversation rocked absolutely, which usually means some bakra was getting his leg pulled, but, that is how it is….for the first time  I slept before twelve tired nd a smile on my face….and some friends went outof their way and spent special time with me…..on the whole a pleasing day…satisfaction….too bad didnt do anything juvenile….

The importance of being ‘You’

This is an interesting bit of conversation rather a part of chain mail conversations I have been having with an absolute stranger I bumped into…..

A-                      ……….basically we like ppl who make us feel like worthwhile human beings.or love us for reasons we cant explain.self love is tough.specially for women cos they just cant get over the fact that they re fat n have to look like giselle brundchen or sum supermodel.I hate the media for doin this to us!!!!!!!!!

Me -                        Gisele Bundchen and her ilk may starve themselves to death, i culdnt care less, why blame the media after a while i stopped watching 24 hrs news 24 hrs coz i realised any freaking thing in this world has only as much importance as u decide to give it – and that Power of making something precious or not is given to every individual human being”……eg: A daimond is just a piece of rock formed due immense pressure the earth exerted on a piece of carbon….its valuable because you believed someone’s con….tht its the most precious thing in life………similarly Gisele & Co could be spermodels and most beautiful women or they could just be unluckier than the african orphans who are thin due to starvation for lack of money bt here these folks starve to make money…..lol or they could just be scarecrows/or because they are not regular people like u n me they could be freaks of nature or hey if u dont need all these comforting thoughts they could just be ” Conventional idea of beauty”……
…… All said and done you love and be comfortable with yourself and eveything else will adapt to YOU……

Reminds me of what I always heard as a kid ” You are the ‘ 1 ‘  and everything else is the ‘0′( zero )   so u give importance to all those zeros…like 10, 100, 100,000,………………….
 

Much ado about nothing……

Oh!! this where I go to show off my craft…..its a Heritage structure….kool huh

Today was one of those days in court when the list of cases looks long and imposing and you wonder how the heck are you going to be in all those different court halls simultaneously and begin to start wishing that you were omnipresent/omnipotent and such fanciful thoughts. But, after all the hectic running around and tension you realise at the end of the tiring day that alll you did was just that “running around” and nothing as much as anticipated was accomplished. Thats because there wasnt enough time for all my cases to be heard.

Ye !! all you people who keep asking why the legal process is slow you ought to come to the courts and see fr yorslf why all this delay is, its many a times delayed because the courts and the judicial system is trying to give each and everyone one of you a fair hearing and sometimes to be fair to each and everyone it takes years, well you aint the only one with a problem now are you???

Also today I was preparing myself  to argue a small criminal case in which my client was accussed of  cheating someone of some dough you know the 420 thing and there wasnt a shred of evidence against ..welll there were some very slippery allegations, so there I was tensed that I will have to argue this case in case my senior colleague is held up before another court in another case, and all that tension amounted to nothing coz he was there on time, hence the Much Ado about Nothing………
